About the package

A package of 6 nights in the French-speaking area of Switzerland to discover the beauty of cities like Geneva, Lausanne, and Montreux. the French cities Chamonix (at the foot of the Mont-Blanc Mountain) and Annecy (the French Venice) are also in the program to make your trip such an unforgettable experience of the area.

Day 1 – Arrival day
 Arrival at the Geneva Airport and transfer to the hotel.
 Check-in at a hotel.
 Free time to discover Geneva.
Geneva:
Situated along the banks of Lake Geneva at the foot of the Alps, Geneva sparkles as one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. With its humanitarian tradition and cosmopolitan flair, the European seat of the UNO and headquarters of the Red Cross is known as the “capital of peace”. The quayside of Lake Geneva, the parks, the old alleyways, and smart boutiques are an invitation to a leisurely stroll.

Day 2
 Breakfast at the hotel.
 Half-Day Geneva group tour with a guide.
In Geneva, you will see the world’s tallest water fountain – The Jet d’eau. The giant fountain with a 140-meter-high water jet is the symbol of the City of Geneva and its main tourist attraction.
Flower Clock (Horloge Fleurie) – a symbol of the Swiss reputable precision and watch industry. Created in 1955, it changes flowers and colors depending on the season. Located on the lakeside at the entrance of the beautiful Jardin Anglais, it continues to fascinate tourists from all over the world.
Saint Peters Cathedral and Old town
The first phase of the cathedral’s construction dates back to the year 1160 and lasted nearly a century. Many events, including a series of fires, led to restorations and reconstructions, modifying its original design.
One hundred fifty-seven steps lead to the summit of the cathedral’s north tower and to a fabulous panorama overlooking the city and the lake.
After having visited the Cathedral, enjoy a walk through the narrow streets of the Old town.
The Arsenal
The building of the arsenal build at the beginning of the XVII century is dominating the old town. It seems to protect Geneva with its 5 canons. First, the arsenal was a corn cellar which has been transformed later in an arsenal. You may also admire the nice mosaics.
Reformation Wall
The construction of the Reformation Wall in the Bastions Park began in 1909, the year which marked the 400th anniversary of the birth of Jean Calvin and the 350th of the foundation of the Academy of Geneva.
The monument is backed against part of the ancient defensive walls that surrounded the city until the middle of the 19th century.

Day 3
 Breakfast at the hotel.
 Transfer by private car from the hotel to Gruyeres – the famous Swiss cheese city.
At the foot of the Pre-Alps, you will be enchanted by the charm and picturesque architecture of the medieval town of Gruyères.
 Visit ‘’La Maison du Gruyere’’ – the cheese factory situated in the very center, near the alpine pastures and at the foot of the Chateau de Gruyeres. La Maison du Gruyere invites you to discover the king of the cheese: Le Gruyère AOC. The show dairy was opened in 1969, it will let you know everything about the production of Le Gruyère cheese, a process richly steeped in tradition that has been passed on from generation to generation. The Maison du Gruyère takes you into the heart of the senses with an exhibition on fragrances and tastes.
 Free time to admire the breath-taking landscapes of Gruyeres. Breathe pure mountain air and hear cowbells in the pasturelands.
 Lunch in a typical Swiss cheese restaurant, where you will savor the delicious cheese fondue made from the best cheese in the city.
 Transfer to Broc and visit the “La Maison de Cailler” chocolate factory. You will enjoy watching and listening to the history of Cailler presented in a very interesting way, then the chocolate-making process, and will finish with the best part, the finest chocolate tasting!
 Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 4
 Breakfast at the hotel.
One day group visit to Chamonix
 Transfer and visiting Chamonix, known as “the gateway to the European Cascades”, one of the most famous mountain villages at the foot of the majestic Mont Blanc.
Chamonix is famous for its spectacular cable car up to the Aiguille de Midi 3,842 m (12,605 ft) height. Constructed in 1955, it was then the highest cable car in the world.
 Having lunch while enjoying a spectacular view.
 Visit the Mer de Glace (sea ice) which is a glacier located on the northern slopes of the
Mont-Blanc massif, in the Alps. At 7 kilometers long and 200 meters deep, it is the longest glacier in France.
 Transfer back to Annecy to enjoy walking in this “Pearl of the French Alps” or called the “French Venice” and its beautiful lake before returning to Geneva.

Day 5
 Breakfast at the hotel.
 Transfer to Montreux and visit the Chateau de Chillon -– one of Switzerland’s most famous monuments. Chateau de Chillon is an architectural jewel located in the most beautiful setting imaginable – on the shores of Lake Geneva, right at the foot of the Alps.
 “Wonderful Alpine scenery” 2 hours cruise on Lake Geneva with lunch on board.
This cruise will allow you to discover all the Riviera beauties, such as Montreux, the Chillon Castle, and the Dents du Midi mountains. Cast between the lake and the mountains, you’ll see the Peilz island, the Grangettes nature reserve and you’ll also be able to gaze at all the region’s nice piers.
During the cruise, you take the opportunity to enjoy a delicious menu while discovering the landscapes of Lake Geneva.
 Transfer to Montreux and free time to walk along the beautiful Riviera of Montreux and enjoying the beautiful views.
The town of Montreux nestles in a sheltered Lake Geneva bay, surrounded by vineyards and against the breathtaking backdrop of snow-covered Alps. Because of the exceptionally mild climate, Montreux is called the capital of the Vaud Riviera. Plants associated with the Mediterranean, such as pines, cypresses, and palm trees grow here. Charlie Chaplin, Freddie Mercury and several other famous people of world-renown lived and continue to live on the Vaud Riviera.

Day 6
 Breakfast at the hotel.
 Free time/shopping.

Day 7
 Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
 Transfer to the airport.
